The CSPE, San Joaquin Chapter Board members have been intensively involved with the Engineers week activities. They, along with other San Joaquin Engineers Council members successfully organized and completed the Engineers Week Banquet, raising funds to give 7 scholarships of $1,500 each. Nader Shareghi, the 2011 Distinguished Service Award recipient was the chair of the selection committee and Dr. James Morgali, a retired UOP professor was selected to receive the 2012 Distinguished Service Award. Lex Corrales, the 2011 Engineer of the Year was the Chair of the selection committee, and Dr. Ravi Jain was selected as the 2012 Engineer of the Year.
The Board intends to have additional Meetings and Field visits to get the membership more involved. If you have any suggestions or are interested in being involved with the board, please contact the board president or secretary. We welcome your input and participation.
