The
Division of Occupational Safety and Health, better known
as Cal/OSHA, protects workers and the public from safety hazards
through various programs, and provides consultative assistance to
employers. The Cal/OSHA Program is responsible for enforcing
California laws and regulations pertaining to workplace safety and
health and for providing assistance to employers and workers about
workplace safety and health issues.
Consultative assistance is provided to employers through on-site
visits, telephone support, publications, eTools and educational
outreach. All services provided by Cal/OSHA Consultation are
provided free of charge to California employers.
