The San Diego
Chapter of CSPE takes the lead in coordinating many of the
engineering society activities in the San Diego area.
In the Spring of
2008, CSPE San Diego sponsored scholarships for the Society of
Hispanic Engineers. Mentoring the next generation of engineers is
one of the many worthwhile programs that CSPE members in the San
Diego area work on and contribute to.
Here are some grateful
students who were scholarship recipients.
Has your child benefited from participation in MATHCOUNTS? Please consider donating to our local competition. Funding is used for food, equipment rentals, awards and prizes at the local competition not covered by registration fees. A San Diego MATHCOUNTS donation can be made in two ways: if you need a tax deduction then it should be written to "CSPEEF" with a memo for San Diego MATHCOUNTS; if no deduction is needed then it can be written to "CSPE- San Diego" with a memo for MATHCOUNTS. Checks should be sent to Ken Discenza, 888 Brockton Street, El Cajon, CA 92020.
