EWeek Activities 2010
National Engineers Week is being
celebrated February 14 to 20, 2010. This year’s theme is ”Engineers
Make a World of Difference.” Collectively, America’s engineers
contribute more than one million hours annually to public service.
The National Engineers Week Foundation coalition members, with
the support of engineering firms and agencies, represent a
significant segment of this volunteer force. This year, to help
celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Engineers Week Discover E
educational outreach program, the Foundation is giving special
recognition to engineer volunteers!
Visit the NSPE website,
www.eweek.org,
for further details on the National Engineers
Week that was started in 1951 by NSPE. This celebration raises public
awareness of engineers’ positive contributions to improving the
quality of life, and promotes the importance of technical education
and literacy in science and technology.

some local EWeek events and the person(s) to contact for more
