MEMBERSHIP DATABASE
The Board of Directors of CSPE expressly prohibits the sale, release or use of the CSPE membership database to anyone without the written authorization of the CSPE Executive Committee. It is also prohibited for the state, any chapter or any affiliate to sell or release their membership lists to members or external parties seeking to make a profit without prior approval from the CSPE Executive Committee.
This policy does not prohibit designated Affiliate and Chapter Officers from receiving their own Affiliate or Chapter data for internal organizational use. Nor does it prohibit limited use by state authorized CSPE vendors, Supporting Organizations that provide member services, or non-profit organizations offering professional development opportunities.
This policy is intended to prohibit any person, company, or member from gaining access to the personal information contained in the database files.
Nothing in this policy shall limit CSPE’s discretion in responding to a request or order from a local, state, federal, or other governmental enforcement agency.
All State and Federal laws regarding individual privacy rights will be followed by CSPE.
