State Dues Policy

FY 2008-2009

Annual state dues for membership in the California Society of Professional Engineers are as follows:

 

A.        The society’s annual dues shall be as follows:

Licensed Member (NSPE Grade A) - $135.00

Retired Licensed Member (NSPE Grade B) - $67.50

Life Member (NSPE Grade E) Disabled Member (NSPE Grade D) – None

Member (EIT) (NSPE Grade H) - $135.00

Member (Recent Grad) (NSPE Grade H) - $67.50

Student Member (NSPE Grade Q) - $45.00 (both introductory and renewal rate)

 

B.                 Any member who enrolls in college or graduate school as a FULL-TIME student shall become eligible to have his or her future dues payments reduced to the amount as specified for a student member as long as he or she remains a FULL-TIME student.

 

C.                 All state dues shall be attributed as income on the Statement of Activities the year in which they are received.

 

D.                 All voluntary CSPEEF contributions will be transferred to the CSPEEF the month they are received.

 

E.                  All other CSPE voluntary dues contributions (Practice Division contributions, Voluntary state dues check off items) will be reflected as income items on the Statement of Activities.

 

F.                  This policy will be reviewed, adapted and re-approved yearly by the Board of Directors of the CSPE.

 

These membership grades/categories will automatically adjust to reflect changes made by NSPE/CSPE bylaws.  No additional authorization is required by the Board of Directors.

 

 

This policy will be reviewed annually.
